WikiLeaks: Saudi’s Oil Reserves Overstated by Nearly 40% Published: February 20, 2011 "Well, this should really come as absolutely no surprise, Saudi Arabia’s got a lot less oil than its been saying."
“The cables, released by WikiLeaks, urge Washington to take seriously a warning from a senior Saudi government oil executive that the kingdom’s crude oil reserves may have been overstated by as much as 300bn barrels – nearly 40%,” John Vidal of the Guardian reports.
Check out the price of crude oil. According to the laws of economics there should be a giant increase in supply given these sky high prices. Unfortunately nature is the ultimate economic system and until we integrate the foundational rules of nature, we will not see the truth. Solar energy makes so much more sense than the massively subsidized oil and nuclear industries (by some estimates with all factors included these industries may be subsidized to the tune of $1 trillion annually). Oil and nuclear are based on non-renewable resources, fossil fuel reserves and uranium both of which are being depleted rapidly while at the same time causing massive damage to nature.
